Broken

“So when is Patrick returning from rainbow?”

-Everyone’s been asking. Especially me.

Last night I was shivering, with a fever and headspins (not the dance move).

I caught up with some friends to see a show. “Big Gay Cruise”. It was fabulous!

My good friend Ben played a big role, and stole the show.

Alas, now:

My body is broken. My mind is goop

This day i’ve awoken with a blood clot in my leg.

6am starts are great if you’re trying to overbalance your life with education, health, relaxation and friends.

2015 and i’m still saying happy new year. The wave should be barreling now. But the challenge remains, cling to the crest of this wave for as long ad you can son.

work, beach(burn butt), friends, home, exercise, chores, city, dinner, tent, markets, home, organise festival.

This eve I was a bit tired granted but I met a guy from Melbourne, short dude, nice enough fellow. But he dropped in a few mentions of his U.S.A travels. Found myself saying -Go figure-, maybe not the authentic sort of individual I would choose to spend my life around. That is all.

3 weeks

Its three weeks until I need to be back in Hobart and studying.

Tonight I scouted some free tickets and went to see Japan vs Jordan. 2-0

I made up a joke. What birds fly around in a group of 12? A Doven!

Tomorrow i’ll get a tent for rainbow serpent festival.

Jon’s birthday gift arived today.

Uni

Uni is locked in! I’m 100% decided on making the plunge and heading to Tassie for a year of study.
I’ll be studying English and French as well as “Business”.

This upcomming Friday I have an appointment with a surgeon, regarding a knee reconstruction. So i’m laying off the jogging somewhat and focusing on riding my bike and sit-ups.

Talked to Faja and my sister tonight, just some lighthearted chit-chat which was lovely.
Also continued my streak by having a sit down with my housemate Bonnie, regarding future plans and ambitions.
It’s exciting being me at the moment. Everything’s so fresh and fun.

January has been a Booze-free, Blogging, Bangles and Beard month for me. Bonnie said next month she’ll pierce my left ear for me, for a laugh. That could be funny. See what else I can come up with before then.

Rainbow festival coming up for Australia Day (my favourite day) -avoiding the politics on that one.

Now I need to read up on the Ruble, I hear Russia are going to go into recession next year. So now I have to wait. World cup 2018 here I come.

Work Sleep Blog

Lazy Sunday? Not quite.

Work has really picked up over the weekends. Meaning I’m working hard on my coffee flows.
This arvo it was a brief bit of exercise and a massive meal. Followed by sleep.
Now I have to sort out Uni! But first:

Where will I stand
When the walls come down
East to the sun’s rise
North to winter’s face
South to where stars are born
West to the road of death

Where will I stand
When the wind wages war
Fleeing the dawn
Howling the breath of ice
Blistered with desert’s smile
Dusty from crypts

Where will I stand
When the world crashes down
And on all sides
I am left exposed
To weapons illimitable
From the vented host

Will I stand at all
against such forces unbarred
Reeling at every blow
Blinded by storms of pain
As all is taken from me
So cruelly taken away
Let not talk of courage
Nor steel fortitude
The gifts of wisdom
Burn too hot to touch
The hunger for peace
Breaks the heart

Where will I stand
In the dust of a done life
Face bared to regret
That flail the known visage
Until none but strangers
Watch my fall.
