Some Say Leftovers, I Say Round Two!

Having Thanksgiving dinner for the second, third or even fourth time gets real boring real quick. Who actually wants to have their amazing Thanksgiving repeated, is that even special? My mother and I were groaning over the amount of turkey and mashed potatoes we have left, and decided to do some research on ideas for some recipes on how to use leftovers to create a second meal. TALK ABOUT SUCH AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

Above you see a sample of Thanksgiving Leftover Breakfast Biscuits, which were invented by Jessica from How Sweet It Is, a food blog.

These are Potato Croquettes, which are made of your mashed potatoes! A great southern kick created by The Food Network.

Another great recipe by The Food Network are these Second Day Turkey and String Bean Pot Pies. Never really thought of using turkey since I favor chicken, but this makes for a great individual meal for lunch or dinner.

Lastly, The New York Daily asked Chef Manuel Trevino to create something using Thanksgiving leftovers, so he created Turkey Mac & Cheese. So genius, especially when trying to serve leftovers to little kids!
